This is the first Mare and Foal sculpted by Michael Simpson for our Equine collection. The natural bond between the mother and foal is evident in this emotive design, Michael sensitively capturing the gentle nature of these beautiful creatures. The design finished by the art of patination where various acids are applied to the surface of the bronze and heat applied to create a deep rich brown patina.
